Finally time to Create!

I have finally had some time to play with this month's special Holiday Sparkle Kit - love me some shaker cards!  And so simple and easy to put together- plus an adorable Christmas stamp set, as well.

It comes with everything you need to make 12 cards and embellished envelopes, and you have the option to purchase the stamp set if you like!

The non traditional colours are fun, and I love the easy peasy foam and acetate to make the shaker cards!  I have always loved them and with this kit they are so quick and simple!

This set is only available until the end of October.  It is only $39.00 plus tax and shipping, or $51.00 with the cute stamp set!  Check out all the details on my website - here !

Thanks for checking out my blog!  I can't wait to show you some more of
our new products, so stop by again soon!

Now for some artwork!

As I have mentioned before, I am definitely a Cricut newbie!  I got a Cricut Explore Air in September, and I have been learning how to use it - it is SO much fun!!  And SO easy!  This new cartridge is chock full of beautiful images for a variety of crafty needs!  I decided to stick with a Christmas theme, because I had a wooden sleigh that was desperately needing a makeover, and I wanted to dress it up to hold cards for Christmas!!

I covered the sleigh with paper from the City Sidewalks paper pack, and then painted the inner part.  Using the Flower Market cartridge, I cut out an assortment of berries, and greenery, and a Merry Christmas title.  There were so many choices, it was easy to make some fun embellishments in just a few easy steps!

With the great coordinating City Sidewalks paper pack, this project was a snap!  I can't wait to try even more projects with this wonderful Cricut collection, available from your local Close to My Heart Consultant, or purchase it here.

It's Closer than you Think!

Christmas!  It really is closer than you think!  In fact - it just 2 short months away!  I am getting ready for Christmas and one of the things I am doing is scrapping those leftover photos from last year!  Yes, like many of you, I still have 2014 photos that need a home in my album!
Luckily, I have White Pines to the rescue!

Using these lovely papers, the coordinating embellishments, and the October Stamp of the Month, I created this layout of two of my kitties ( we have three now!):

I also cut one of the coordinating Picture My Life cards for the journal spot, and used the matching twine colours for the ornament!  The title is done with the Jennifer's Hand stamp set (B1484)

There are lots of great ways to use these products, so please check them out - next on my list is some Christmas cards!

Countdown to Daily December!

Are you ready?  December is now less than a week today and I am excited document all the little and big things that will be happening in my world for the month of December!

Last year, I created a Daily December book - here are some photos of a few pages:

This is just a little sample of some of the pages I created - nothing fancy, but a fun way to share the memories of this very special time of year!

I am heading out to a 5 night 6 day scrapping retreat tomorrow, and I will be prepping  some of my pages for this month's project!  I can't wait to have so much time to focus on my
favourite hobby with some of my favourite peeps!!

Over the next few days I will be posting about how I am getting ready to document December - to give you an idea of my initial hunting and gathering stage:

I have my kit all ready to go!  I am sure I will add a few odds and ends as I go -
but this is my starting place!  If you need some fun supplies, you can still order the Holiday Happenings collection from CTMH - click HERE to check it out!

It's almost time for Daily December!

At the risk of inciting a full on panic - it will soon be December!!  That wonderful, chaotic, busy, happy, sometimes overwhelming time of year that some of us love
and some of us fear!!

I am a big fan of the Christmas season, and for the past several years I have kept a Daily December Album to chronicle all the moments big and small that contribute to making the festive season the most wonderful time of the year!  That is why I am super excited about the My Crush Holiday Happenings book!

There is also and accompanying Holiday Happenings Assortment - full of cards and stickers to personalise the book into your own holiday mini album!

And an adorable stamp set!

I will be documenting my December and would love for you to join in on the fun! To purchase the above supplies, just click the links!  Click on the Daily December link in the sidebar for lots of links and suggestions for how to get started!  And if you have a blog - grab the Daily December button and be sure to link up your pages and ideas for us all to share!  Come back often for more ideas and new links!!
I can't wait to share my December Daily with you and
see what you come up with as well!

More Merry!!

I am all about Christmas this week, it seems!  As promised in yesterday's post, here is the extra project I made using the SnowHaven Paper Pack and Be Jolly hostess stamp set!

I was inspired by the wonderful Vicki Wizniuk, whose blog post HERE, provided the info and template link to make this project!

The project is a set of six 3x3 mini cards for Christmas, with a lovely little gift box to match!

First the cards - made from little scraps!

And then the little card holder:

The whole project took about an hour to put together - the cards are quick and easy, made with scraps and leftover embellishments from two 6x6 squares of paper and the remnants of the
SnowHaven Workshop on the Go kit (see yesterday's post) for details!

I plan to make a few more of these to have on hand for Christmas Hostess gifts and craft fairs.
A great way to use up leftovers and scraps!

Happy Day everyone!
