Mojo Monday Card (and box)

I am feeling a little lack of mojo these days - so what better way to find it than with the weekly Mojo Monday challenge?!

Mojo Monday provides a sketch to work from:

And here is my take on it:

I used the Pathfinding paper kit - I love the autumn colours.
I also used the "Thanksgiving Wreath"  (B1454) stamp set for the sentiment.

After the card was made I thought a little gift box to go with it might be fun:

The box and leaves were cut with the Cricut and the Art Philosophy and Artiste cartridges.
Quick, easy and a fun hostess or thank you gift!

Check out all the great sketches at Mojo Monday and get your Mojo going!!

Happy Day everyone!

Card challenges

I never used to be much of a card maker, but I have been inspired to get busy by participating in some challenges this week.  Usually I make cards when I need one, but I have been trying to build up my collection of cards on hand - it is great to have something handmade when I need one!

The first is for the Mojo Monday Challenge #334.  First the sketch:
And now the card, which I made at 3.5 x 5.5 inches, using paper from Balloon Ride and Ariana:

I love how easy it is to make paper flowers with my Cricut!

Next up is the Atlantic Hearts Challenge sketch:
And my take on the sketch, again using Balloon Ride and Ariana:

Challenges and Sketches are a great way to inspire you to get crafty - especially if your mojo is on vacation!  I would love to see what you can come up with!!  Give it a try!

Happy Day everyone!

Embossing Folders Video Tutorial

Today I have a quick little card for the Mojo Monday Challenge 331!  A little sparkle, a little bling and a great quatrefoil embossing folder - my sister has a birthday on Sunday!!

All supplies are from Close to My Heart - Ivy Lane Cardmaking Workshop on the Go.

And please check out a great new video that will help you get the most out of your embossing folders - I know I don't use mine often enough!!

Happy Day!
